I was in sales for a little under 3 years while attending college. I originally took an interest in selling because I recognized that it was a lucrative opportunity and I was learning a universal skill that I believed would help me in every aspect of business. My biggest takeaway from sales is that I loved helping others solve problems with a value proposition, but I felt like I was selling products that I wasn’t personally passionate about.
It wasn’t until I attended my last year at Brigham Young University – Idaho that I discovered my interest in sales and technology combined. This combination is what led me to digital marketing. It became “pixelated persuasion” to me. The flexibility, fluidity, and ability to see results in real time was fascinating to me! I never found one specific product that I was passionate about but rather was passionate in helping other people’s businesses through a digital medium. And digital marketing at it’s core is being in the business of understanding and knowing other people’s business.
After graduating college I took an internship as a Search Engine Specialist at a small company in Rexburg Idaho called Hangar Marketing. I have since then worked for different kinds of clientele and industries from Blue Collar, Ecommerce, & Hospitality just to name a few. I’ve loved the challenges and fulfillment that has come with digital & search engine marketing and haven’t looked back since.
In my spare time, I indulge in a range of activities. When not immersed in client work or formulating comprehensive marketing strategies, I prioritize quality moments with my family. They serve as the cornerstone of my motivation and purpose. Ensuring their well-being is the most important thing to me.
Among my varied hobbies, I find fulfillment in playing the guitar, exploring the world of video games, undertaking DIY projects, and delving into the art of grilling—an interest I’ve recently picked up on. Beyond these, I actively pursue physical activities such as workouts and quick pick up games of basketball, not only for enjoyment but also as a way to burn off all those calories from grilling!
